Both our churches have a Memory Tree. The first Memory Tree situated in Craigellachie Church (shown above) was gifted to the church by the family of the late Callum Tweedie. The trees have removable leaves which can be engraved with the name of a loved one.
It is hoped that the trees will provide a suitable focus for our memories of those no longer with us.

The trees were beautifully crafted by a young coppersmith at Forsyths of Rothes.
Should you wish to have a leaf engraved with the name of a loved one please speak to our Session Clerk, Linda, who will arrange for a leaf to be given to you. It is then your responsibility to have the leaf engraved. This can be done through most jewellers and at some hardware shops. The leaf, once returned, will be placed on one of the trees.

The Memory Tree in Aberlour Church was kindly donated by the Tweedie and Thomson families. It was dedicated as part of our service of rededication on Friday 27th April 2012.
