Where do we find God? In our readings this week we find two different stories of people wanting to find God in Big Powerful Signs – but what they find is a God who is with them in quieter but more profound ways.

When the early church in Rome were in need of encouragement, Paul wrote to them with words about the depth of God’s love which echo through the centuries. In those words we have an image of the God who cares for us in all the depths of human experience and from whom we can never be separated.
