Andrew is away on parental leave through the end of April.
You may have seen the amazing progress of things growing down at the glebe. At the moment there are open “potter, water, and tidy up” sessions going every Monday and Wednesday 2-4pm, Thursdays 1.30-2.30pm, and other sessions as advertised. We have a WhatsApp group for folk who want to be kept in the loop and updates also on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/aberlourglebe.
Andrew is on leave until late May. Over this period pastoral cover will be provided by a group of neighbouring ministers. The primary contact co-ordinating cover for the duration will be the Rev Dr Amy Bender (Keith: North, Newmill, Boharm and Rothiemay): e-mail: abender@churchofscotland.org.uk; tel: 01542 780486.
To help us prepare a display to mark the closure of Craigellachie Church, we are seeking photographs and other relevant memorabilia. E.g., Sunday School photos (including seaside picnics); photos of fundraising events, presentations, nativities, and special services. Do you have a special memory you would like write down to share with others? Anything at all would be helpful. If you can help, please contact Jane Tweedie by e-mail: jane871515@outlook.com.

The community garden at the Aberlour Glebe has potted up and is preparing to plant, and are trying to put together a maintenance schedule for the coming growing season. If you would enjoy regularly helping out with watering or weeding, please let Claire or Sam know your preferred availability: e-mail: info@aberlourglebe.org.
Hi walkers (and some Glebe Communty gardeners),
The next Aberlour walking Group walk is on 11th May 2024 to Buckie-Portgordon. It is a circular route, starting and finishing in Cluny Square. Travelling from Fochabers, go left at the signpost to Buckie, and follow the road down to the square.
We spotted 2 seals today, but no doubt there will be more wildlife to spot.
For those interested in Community Gardens, we will stop for some refreshement at the Portgordon Community Garden.

As usual, let me know if you are joining us by Thursday 9th May, and if you need help with transport.
Donald
