Christian Aid Week: Sincere thanks to all those who supported the door-to-door collection, the ‘Souper’ lunch, quiz and sponsored walk. The total raised locally for Christian Aid was £2441.80p. The winner of the Christian Aid Book Title Quiz was Sheila Webster, Dufftown, who won a bottle of Macallan Whisky.

Raffle Prizes Wanted: Please help support our Quiz Night by donating a raffle prize. Donation can be given to any church elder. If you cannot manage along to the Quiz, you are welcome to buy raffle tickets from Pat Fraser (Aberlour) or Linda Cordiner (Craigellachie). Thank you.

Wed. 3rd July: St Giles Church Elgin at 7.30pm. Justice and Human Rights for Palestinians, Witness Reports from the Occupied Territories. Guest Speaker Michael Himlie will share his experience of working in Hebron, a town in the West Bank, one of the occupied territories, the centre of Israeli Military Occupation.

 Sat. 13th July: Fundraising Quiz Night & Raffle 7.30pm Aberlour Parish Church. Raising funds to support the charity ‘Running Home’, which is helping rebuild war torn homes in the Middle East so that refugees can return home. Marc Calder is running the pilgrim route from Deer Church to Aberlour Parish Church (95miles!!) as part of his ten ultra marathons in one year!  He should arrive at the church at some point during the Quiz, all going well! Pennies Jar – Each of our churches has a jar at the back for collecting small change in. Please consider bringing along those pesky wee coins that take up room in your pockets and purses and let us use them wisely.
